Luka Doncic appeared on the basketball scene as a teenager in Real Madrid (Madrid), and now the whites continue to have a special place in his heart, though for a second season he is far from Spain. The 20-year-old Slovenian performs extremely well in the NBA with the Dallas team, and at one of his last meetings with the media, he was asked by a Spanish journalist if he would follow in Nikola Mirotic`s footsteps.

In the summer, Mirotic, who is also a teenager at Real Madrid, chose to leave the NBA to sign a long-term, fairly lucrative contract with Barcelona.

I would never play for Barcelona. Real is my family. I miss everything, especially the teammates, commented Doncic, adding that he was not surprised that Real Madrid fans had blown up Mirotic earlier in the week when he had a clash at the two Euroleague grand slams.

I believe he was aware of what was going to happen. It is not normal. He has not only played for Madrid, but he has built himself in Real Madrid, the Slovenian added.
